Registration is open for the Museums June & July Tidbit Tuesday Programs. Tidbit Tuesdays are for children ages 4-10 and combine hands on activities with lessons about local history and culture. All Tidbit Programs are offered free of charge, but the Museum asks parents or guardians to sign up in advance to ensure enough materials for everyone. Tidbit Programs are held at the Sheridan County Historical Society & Museum unless otherwise noted.
The Museum has three exciting programs coming in June and July. On June 6, we will be celebrating Clearmont, Wyoming’s 125th Birthday and learning about the community’s history. We will have a very special guest on hand for the program, Clearmont Mayor Chris Schock. We’ll be going to the ball park for our June 20th program. Special guest presenters Christy & Richard Wright will be teaching the basics of Civil War era baseball. The June 20 Tidbit will be held at the 6th Street Ballpark in Sheridan. We will not be hosting a Tidbit on July 4 due to Independence Day. Our only July Tidbit will be on July 18. The July program is called “Down on The Farm” and will look at heirloom vegetable gardens.
Parents and guardians can sign their children up for Tidbit Tuesdays by calling the Museum at 307-675-1150 or by clicking on the buttons below.
