Drop by the Sheridan County Historical Society & Museum for the 2018 Eaton’s Ranch Horse Drive, Sheridan County’s official summer kick-off. Starting at 8 am Museum staff, and volunteers will be serving hot pancakes and sausage for $7 a plate. Afterward, watch the Eaton’s herd from the comfort of the Museum’s covered porch or along the hillside above 5th Street. While you wait, stroll through the Museum to explore Sheridan County’s past. The Museum will be open free all day. We have the best view of the Eaton’s Horse Drive in Sheridan as the wranglers drive the herd below the Museum along 5th Street. The Eaton’s Herd will probably be at the Museum between 9-9:30 a.m. but the times will vary depending on the conditions.
So don’t forget, celebrate the start of summer in Sheridan County with the Eaton’s Horse Drive and Pancake Breakfast at the Sheridan County Historical Society & Museum!
