May’s program explores the life of Beatrice Gallatin Beuf and the Gallatin Ranch near Big Horn. The Gallatin Family arrived in Sheridan County in the early 20th Century. Purchasing land from William Moncrieffe, the family raised polo ponies and cattle. Beatrice Gallatin spent her formative years in Sheridan County. Her life included contacts with Buffalo Bill Cody, Charles Lindbergh, and more. She led a full and remarkable life, passing away almost a decade ago at the age of 102. Join moderator Helen Laumann as she explores the history of the Gallatin Family, their ranch, and the life of Beatrice. The program is free to the public. Come and be a part of the conversation!

Following the May program, Casual Conversations will be on its regular summer hiatus until September.
